Deangate Ridge Indoor Bowls Club
Weekend matches. To promote Indoor Bowls throughout the area. Young persons from the age of 8-16 play each Sunday morning. Grown-ups have Men’s matches, Mixed matches and Ladies matches. The club has existed for over 40 years. We have monthly outings on charter boats around the South of England. Venues stretch from North Devon and Cornwall, round to the coast of Essex. We moved in 2003 from the Village Hall to a purpose-built modular building within the grounds of the Primary School. The building is modern, light and airy and has access to a secure outside area. Read more

St Margaret’s Bell Ringers
The Ringers meet for practice every Tuesday evening between 19.30 and 21.00. They would welcome new members. For more information please contact Alan Driver, the Tower Captain on 252031

Sugababes
This group meet in the Memorial Hall every Thursday evening from 7 until 9pm and make all the various icing figures, etc, that are needed to put on to your special cakes. Contact: Crystal Wakefield, 251849.

Whist Club
This group meet monthly in the Memorial Hall from April to November on the fourth Saturday of the month at 7.30p.m. They also visit different venues in the area on other Saturdays. Contact: Freda Jordan, 251820.

Women’s Institute
We meet in the Memorial Hall on the first Wednesday of every month at 7.30p.m. Members pay a yearly subscription. We are a very friendly organisation and to date we have 34 paid-up members. Youth Club
The Youth Club is for boys and girls age 9 +. The activities are supervised by CRB checked volunteers, and include:- Craft, Football, Table Tennis Pool, Badminton and other games. There is a “Tuck Shop” selling fruit drinks, crisps, sweets and chocolate. We meet in the Village Hall at 7p.m.to 9 p.m. every Tuesday evening (term time only). Contact: Lesley Munday, 250276.

Youth Night
A place to hang out and be yourself. To be held first Friday of the month, Youth Open Night at the Memorial Hall. 7.30pm to 10.00pm entrance free. Bring your own PS3 games to see how good you really are
