Speeding
I recently heard that local councils have the power to recommend a speed limit. High Halstow has a problem with speeding vehicles in particular on Christmas Lane and the Street, it is time something was done to not only reduce the speed limit to 20 MPH but to introduce some form of traffic calming programme. If you look at Cobham you will see a lot of similarities to High Halstow, yet unlike High Halstow it has taken steps to slow traffic down!!
Is it not time we looked at this as a village project?
