The Hall Committee is extremely grateful to the funding received from

Veolia Environmental Trust
Kent Downs and Marshes Leader Programme (RDPE)
High Halstow Parish Council
Garfield Weston Foundation

In addition the Hall Committee would like to express its gratitude as well the Youth Club and Sound Hole who have donated £2200 towards Phase Two. To have regular hirers of the Hall donate money bodes well for the future usage of the Hall as with improved facilities will be available for all With this money we now have enough to see the completion of the building works for Phase Two. We are still fund raising to pay for the painting and decorating that will be required once the builders have finished on site.

Many thanks in particular to Ray Collins who has spent many an hour prior to the works starting to carry out the demolition works (inside) which has helped keep the cost of the project down and made Phase Two a reality. In addition Ray has been on site every day to ensure that any issues with the builders are addressed straight away and this has contributed to a good working relationship with the builders, B W May and Architects, Clay Architecture Ltd
